Where 2.0

Ok, as most of you may already know, Google has now officially released an API for google maps (http://www.google.com/apis/maps/) and is allowing anyone to use it for free. There is going to be a ton of creativity going into this, including Community Walk, which I will hopefully have up and running by the end of the month. I really want to make the application this as robust and easy-to-use as possible, but as some point i am going to have to release it.

There were a number of other developers at Where 2.0 that were doing some great stuff as well. Everyone there seemed so interested. The development that is going into data being displayed in location based context is absolutely fascinating and is going to truly change the way people interact with the world around them.
